TIMBER CONNECTORS / LARGE REINFORCED ANGLE BRACKETS

Simpson Strong-Tie E9/2.5 Large Reinforced Angle Bracket

The Simpson Strong-Tie E9/2.5 is a high-capacity, large reinforced structural angle bracket engineered for demanding 90-degree timber-to-timber, timber-to-concrete, and timber-to-steel connections. Precision-manufactured from 2.5mm thick high-grade pre-galvanised steel (Z275 coating), this equal-leg 150mm x 150mm x 65mm connector incorporates a central stiffening rib to provide enhanced rigidity and exceptional load resistance under tension and shear forces. Ideal for structural wood-frame housing, timber framing, rafter anchor connections, cantilevers, and small truss fixings, the E9/2.5 provides dependable structural integrity across heavy-duty framing applications.

EXCLUSIVE TRADE PROCUREMENT & PROJECT DISCOUNT SUPPORT

As part of our commitment to supplying the complete Simpson Strong-Tie timber connector catalogue with excellent component availability, we provide tailored trade pricing packages for timber frame manufacturers, principal contractors, and site developers. If your project demands high bulk quantities or you need to negotiate tailored commercial packages for ongoing construction schemes, please contact our technical sales desk directly to discuss competitive volume-based trade discounts negotiated in direct partnership with the manufacturer.

CRITICAL STRUCTURAL APPLICATION & SPECIFICATION MANDATE

The E9/2.5 bracket is fully certified under European Technical Assessment (ETA-06/0106) regulations for structural load-bearing installations. Featuring a versatile hole layout comprising 5mm nail/screw holes, 11mm bolt clearance holes, and an elongated 11mm x 34mm slotted hole on the anchor flange, it supports multiple fixing media. Fasten to timber substrates using Simpson Strong-Tie CNA 4.0mm annular ring-shank nails or CSA 5.0mm connector screws; secure to concrete base structures using M10/M12 mechanical wedge anchors or AT-HP chemical resin injection systems.
