NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY

Order by 4pm Monday to Friday for a Next Business Day Delivery. 

Our next day delivery service usually gets to you by 17:30 on the next business day.

Timed deliveries are available at an additional charge, timed deliveries available are pre 09:30, pre 10:30, pre 12:30.

Remote areas: For deliveries to some addresses in the United Kingdom next day delivery as standard is not possible, areas included are the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.

***Please note that deliveries to both Northern and Southern Ireland may be subject to an additional charge depending on the size of the order.

On occasion items may be out of stock when you order, as soon as the goods come back into stock we will despatch them immediately. The website indicates expected delivery lead times in those circumstances, Metro Fixings will send an email to you after you place your order, to specify the expected lead time for out of stock products. 

If you have place an order for goods that are both in stock and out of stock, Metro Fixings can send the items on your order that are available, upon completion of your order, please enter in the customer comments "please send what you have in stock" and those items will arrive on the next working day.

HOW LONG WILL MY DELIVERY TAKE?

HOW MUCH WILL MY DELIVERY COST?

If you spend £75 net (before VAT) with us then your standard next working day delivery will be free of charge regardless of delivery location within England, Scotland and Wales. If your order is less than £75 net then a delivery charge of £6.95 will be incurred.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME FOR OUT OF STOCK SIMPSON STRONG-TIE PRODUCTS?

Metro Fixings carry a huge range of Simpson Strong-Tie products, however on occasion customers have a requirement for goods that we dont have in stock. We place orders with Simpson Strong-Tie on a daily basis, typically their delivery lead time to us is 2-3 days, the day we receive the goods is the day we despatch them on an overnight delivery to the customer. If you have a question relating to lead times or if you are after a product that you cant see, contact the Sales Team on 01707 375172 for price/availability/lead time. 

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN MY ORDER WILL BE SHIPPED?

Keep an eye on your email, once your web order has been placed Metro Fixings Sales Team will email you from sales@metrofixings.co.uk and will appraise you as to whether we have your order in stock and when you will receive the delivery. If your goods are shipped via UPS/DPD then they will also seperately send you an email that will contain tracking information.

WHO WILL MY GOODS BE DELIVERED BY?

To make sure that your order is delivered quickly and safely Metro Fixings use UPS, DPD and Nightfreight for overnight UK deliveries that are outside of the Home Counties and London. London and the Home Counties will generally be covered by our own delivery vehicles. 

WHERE CAN MY ORDER BE DELIVERED?

Metro Fixings can deliver to any UK mainland address specified, we can deliver to the billing address or to a specific delivery address. If you have a requirement for goods to be shipped outside of the UK, contact our Sales Team on 01707 375172 for a competitive quotation on international deliveries, please note that if you are looking for an international quotation, we will need an exact list of the products required and an exact address.

WHAT IF I AM UNAVAILABLE WHEN DELIVERY IS ATTEMPTED?

If you or the intended recipient are not available when the Metro Fixings delivery driver/parcel carrier attempts delivery, a delivery card will be popped in your letter box. Please follow the instructions on the card to rearrange delivery. Alternatively please call our Sales Team on 01707 375172 and we will be able to assist with a second delivery attempt. 

IF I PLACE AN ORDER, YOU ONLY HAVE PART OF IT, BUT I WANT WHAT YOU DO HAVE, WILL YOU SEND IT?

Yes we will, if you request for us to do so. Upon completion of your web order, please enter in the customer comments "please send what you have in stock" and the items we have in stock will arrive on the next working day so long as the order is placed before 16:00.
