For demanding applications where performance cannot be compromised. Ideal for use with fire-retardant panels, the Type 1 Metal is a versatile, high-performance fastener. Its reliability has been independently proven through rigorous strength, shock loading and vibration tests.
Both parts of the connector are diecast in ZL2 zinc alloy and fitted with a 316 stainless-steel spring. As a general guide, four Button-fix Type 1 Metal fasteners on a vertical panel will support loads weighing up to a maximum of 350kg (770lbs), provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions complied with.
