While our dedicated Metro vehicle fleet carries out routine trade deliveries across London and the Home Counties, nationwide deliveries outside our regional radius travel via DPD. Selecting DPD Pickup Point Collection at checkout gives you total delivery flexibility without the hassle of coordinating site access or waiting in for a courier.

1. Select DPD Pickup at Checkout Choose the "DPD pickup point collection" option during online checkout. Enter your site postcode, home address, or transit route to view the closest participating shops and 24/7 lockers on an interactive map.

2. Real-Time Tracking & Notification As soon as our warehouse team dispatches your goods from our Luton hub, you will receive full DPD tracking updates via SMS and email confirming delivery transit.

3. Instant Secure Collection When your parcel arrives at your chosen point, DPD sends your unique collection PIN and barcode. Stop by, present or scan your code, and collect your hardware immediately.

Order Suitability & Maximum Parcel Specifications

DPD Pickup is ideal for boxed goods including masonry anchors, timber screws, small power tool kits, Simpson Strong-Tie builders metalwork, safety equipment, and general consumables. To ensure parcels fit securely into automated lockers and shop storage areas, consignments must comply with the following dimensional and weight constraints:

Maximum Parcel Weight: 15 kg
Individual parcel weight must strictly not exceed 15 kg to comply with network handling limits.

Standard / Maximum Box Size: 46 cm x 46 cm x 61 cm (Width x Length x Height)
The primary allowable threshold for standard boxed fixings, tool cases, and boxed hardware across all lockers and parcel shops.

Flat Box Size: 60 cm x 100 cm x 5 cm (Width x Length x Height)
Permitted for flat, slim parcels such as sheet plates, bracket packs, and slim cartons.

*Exclusions: Consignments exceeding 15 kg, items exceeding either of the dimensional envelopes above, lengths over 1 metre, 3m channel unistrut, 3m threaded rods, and palletised shipments exceed network limits and must be scheduled via standard direct site transport.
