1. Contract Formation & Quotations
All contracts entered into with Metro Fixings Ltd incorporate these Terms and Conditions of Sale to the exclusion of all other terms, including any buyer purchasing conditions:
- Quotations issued by Metro Fixings Ltd constitute an invitation to treat and remain valid for 30 days unless formally withdrawn or adjusted prior to written acceptance.
- Orders placed by telephone, email, or web portal are binding only upon written confirmation or dispatch of goods from our distribution hubs.
- Bespoke fabrications, custom-threaded components, or non-catalogue items sourced specifically for site requirements cannot be cancelled once manufacturing or procurement has commenced.

3. Delivery, Risk & Site Access
Deliveries are conducted via our fleet or accredited courier transport under the following conditions:
- Delivery Dates: Target arrival dates are provided as estimates. Metro Fixings Ltd accepts no liability for direct or indirect losses, site delay penalties, or standing time costs caused by transit disruptions.
- Risk Transfer: Risk of damage or loss passes to the buyer upon completion of delivery offloading at the designated site coordinates or trade counter collection.
- Site Unloading: The customer must ensure safe site access and adequate mechanical unloading gear (forklifts or site teams) for bulk pallets or heavy structural fixings.
4. Retention of Title
Legal and beneficial title to all supplied goods remains with Metro Fixings Ltd until the customer has paid for them in full, together with all other sums due on any account. Until title passes, the buyer must store the goods separately, identifiable as Metro Fixings Ltd property, and keep them fully insured.
5. Warranties & Limitation of Liability
We warrant that goods conform to manufacturer specifications and relevant UK engineering compliance standards. Our liability for defective items is limited strictly to replacement or credit value refund. Under no circumstances shall Metro Fixings Ltd be liable for loss of profit, operational downtime, or indirect consequential damage.
